EEEGR operates a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) which aim to address current issues that are particularly relevant to the energy industry and our membership.
We currently have four SIGs:
- Reuse and Decommissioning (with partner Decom North Sea)
- Marine Science and Technology
- Offshore Wind
- Southern North Sea (SNS) Rejuvenation (in association with the Oil & Gas Authority (OGA) and Oil & Gas UK)
Each SIG is run by a steering group made up of EEEGR members, but often featuring other specialist third party organisations that can add knowledge, data or skills. The aim of each SIG is to produce meaningful and tangible outputs, that benefit and showcase the energy sector in the East of England.
The groups initiate and review the Terms of Reference (ToR), establish work streams and subject areas, and agree the relevant topics for workshops, conferences and events.
Events specific to each SIG are promoted and bookable through the Events pages of this website. For more information about upcoming EEEGR events, please click HERE.
