Philippa WarrenBusiness Development and Membership Manager
Philippa joined EEEGR in April 2017 as Business Development and Special Projects manager. This role includes looking after the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that EEEGR currently co-ordinates. At present we have SIGs for Marine, Offshore Wind, Late Life & Decommissioning and SNS Rejuvenation and it will be Philippa’s responsibility to ensure that the groups are meeting regularly, completing agreed actions and providing tangible benefits to the industry.
Philippa has more recently taken on the additional responsibility of EEEGR membership, alongside managing some of EEEGR’s key accounts and providing a point of contact for members to communicate what we are doing well and how EEEGR can facilitate their business development further.
Philippa graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Marine Geography and year of industry experience under her belt, ready and keen to work in the marine sector. She initially worked for Gardline Environmental as an Offshore Field Scientist. Whilst this was heavily ecology and conservation focussed, it enabled her to gain valuable experience in survey operations and what it’s really like to work offshore. She then came back on-shore with Gardline and moved across to the main project management department. In 2015 she joined Global Marine Systems in Chelmsford as a Proposal Engineer, primarily working with a number of internal departments to produce tender documentation in relation to both telecoms and offshore wind projects.
