EEEGR’S Flagship Southern North Sea Conference
EEEGR are delighted to announce the return of their flagship Southern North Sea conference, the most important event for the energy sector in the East of England. Taking place over two days at the Norfolk Showground Arena in Norwich, SNS2020 will be the largest conference and exhibition EEEGR has ever delivered attracting upwards of 1300 delegates from across the industry and supply chain.
As we witness our industry transitioning to a zero-carbon economy the sector is facing many challenges and opportunities that will dramatically impact all our lives.
EEEGR’s annual flagship conference and exhibition, SNS2020 at the Norfolk Showground Arena on April 22nd and 23rd, will be showcasing presentations, speeches and workshops from industry leaders who will be considering energy transition and what they believe its impact will be on energy generation, investments, skills, supply chain engagement and its effect in both our region and the global energy arena.
With over 50% of the entire nations offshore wind capacity installed off the East Anglian Coast, coupled with more than 50 years of gas and nuclear generation, the East of England is continuing to provide the energy for much of the country with its significant contribution to the nation’s growth.
The conference will seek to assist energy producers, their supply chain, skills providers, stakeholders and investors with the latest developments and insights from leading businesses, politicians, industry gurus and futurologists on subjects as diverse as future rounds of offshore wind development, the potential for gas advances in the SNS including the opportunities with tight gas, the potential for gas to wire and power to gas projects, the possibilities for brown, green and blue hydrogen production, the development of carbon capture and storage technologies, the key role that nuclear generation and prospects for nuclear new build. How can these sectors work together? Are there economies of scale in joint working, can our supply chains diversify?
How can we square the circle of increased demands for energy whilst also satisfying the call from the climate change movement and an increasingly disillusioned youth society that views energy production in a very different way to previous generations?
With passionate debate, industry presentations, panel sessions, workshops, breakout gatherings and one to one meet the buyer opportunities SNS2020 will be the ‘go to’ conference and exhibition for anyone seeking to learn more about energy transition and its impact on our businesses and lives.
