The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) is delighted to invite you to join the ‘Kazakhstan Clean Energy Workshop: Opportunities’ event, which is intended to provide you with the most relevant and recent updates from the clean energy industry experts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UK.
The clean energy industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan has undergone dramatic changes in the last decade. The country signed and ratified the Paris Agreement in 2016, successfully held EXPO 2017, an International Specialised Exhibition on ‘Future Energy’, pledged to reach carbon neutrality by 2060, and is determined to diversify its energy sector beyond oil & gas and commercialise its vast clean energy resources.
In order to provide the event audience with full immersion experience into the clean energy industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and highlight the opportunities the country holds for UK companies, the event programme is split into the following 3 sections:

- Green Finance
- Case Studies
Who should attend?
- UK companies and investors active or considering opportunities in clean energy industry, who want to learn more about the opportunities to expand their businesses to the Republic of Kazakhstan by establishing a presence.
- Kazakhstan companies active in the clean energy of the country looking for financial support from UK Export Finance (UKEF) to secure deals with UK suppliers of goods and services (with the UK content of not less than 20%).
