Do your staff fear digital? How diverse is your team? In a fast paced world with ever-changing trends, it is vital for businesses to keep up with digital transformations while ensuring that their workforce is motivated and fully engaged.
Join IoD for an interactive half day workshop on Tuesday 15 October, where they will cover some of the alternative aspects of a digital implementation, as well as the benefits, pitfalls and challenges facing businesses today all themed around Diversity, Workforce Engagement and Digital Productivity.
IoD will challenge what your business actually needs from a digital perspective and what you need to do to stay ahead, such focusing on the right platforms, and maximising the associated productivity.
They will also cover the importance of diversity, not only aspects which are commonly discussed such as race, gender and sexual orientation, but also mindset and thought processes. This will lead naturally on to how you can harness that diversity for performance, while ensuring that your staff do not fear ‘Digital’ and are properly engaged.
Expert speakers will share their knowledge and facilitate breakout sessions including Ian Gardner of IBM, John Cockburn-Evans of Aspire2BLean, Ben Miller of Konica Minolta and Sehaam Cyrene of The Paper Tuner.
The workshop includes an interactive demonstration and guidance on how to prevent physical problems when using IT equipment.
IoD will also be joined by Matt Applegate, BAFTA winner and inspiring founder of Ipswich based Creative Computing Club and Tim Robinson, COO of TechEast, responsible for bringing technologists and business leaders together.
Matt has worked for some of the biggest tech companies and takes his experience into the classroom to help the next generation of programmers.
Tim will share data and insight on where the region is today and the next steps towards becoming a global tech cluster.
The morning will come to a close with a buffet lunch with fellow delegates.
