Job Vacancy - Events and Marketing Assistant
Full time permanent position 37.5 hours a week

The East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) is a trade body, skills association and business development organisation representing the energy sector and its supply chain in the East of England. To help fulfil our commitments, deliver excellent events for our members, and raise the profile of the East of England energy industry, we are looking for an Events and Marketing Assistant to support the activities of our Events and Marketing Executive. The successful applicant will have good written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and IT skills. Experience of software such as Mailchimp and an understanding of marketing strategies would be an advantage. They will need a full clean driving licence with their own mode of transport, and be able to undertake site visits and occasional overnight stays.
The successful applicant will assist the Events and Marketing Executive in organising and running events, processing delegate bookings, event logistics and marketing of events. They will also assist in developing general marketing communications for the organisation and its membership including social media and e-shots. They will also have the opportunity to assist in attracting new members to the organisation.
