Job Vacancy - CREWING ADMINISTRATOR – Maternity Cover
The Gardline Group is a successful marine survey contractor, operating a fleet of dedicated geophysical survey vessels, conducting major integrated offshore projects on a worldwide basis.
We are currently looking to recruit an Administrator within our Crewing Department on a fixed term basis for one year. The role is pivotal in supporting and providing a proactive and comprehensive administrative service to effectively support the needs of the Crewing Department within Gardline Geosurvey Ltd
Your main responsibilities will be to plan/arrange crew allocation to survey vessels whilst scheduling crew training needs with operational commitments. You will be required to inform crew personnel on vessel deployments and will liaise with crew on obtaining any project specific documentation eg visa applications. You will be required to handle crew queries and provide operational support to the Crewing Manager and Travel Department as and when required.
The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in an administrative or similar role together with a high level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Word and Outlook, specific knowledge or Microsoft Excel formulas would be advantageous.
A professional and helpful telephone manner is essential, as is the ability to liaise effectively with other departments throughout the Gardline Group. Ideally we are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person, keen to learn and contribute, matched with the workplace skills and experience mentioned above.
