"...the sustainable production and wise use of energy"

The East of England energy industry has to meet new challenges and seize fresh opportunities if it is to capitalise on a sustainable future based on stable energy supplies, a very different story from some 40 years ago when the industry was first developed in the region and gas was first brought ashore in the region.
Natural resources, internationally renowned academics and world-class companies exploiting innovation, high quality skills and track records to match will all be part of the campaign.
EEEGR (East of England Energy Group) and its membership of more than 300 commercial businesses and organisations, public sectors and not-for-profit bodies, and academia are at the centre of operations acting as a single focal point representing the energy industry and striving to ensure that all these regional assets combine to form a world-class industry capable of competing in a global energy market.
Membership benefits, whether they are networking with like-minded business people, accessing guidance on training, grants and recruitment, or being profiled through newsletters and websites. All this and more are available by being a part of the energy network in the region, as many can testify.
