Together with the prestigious Energy Innovation Award, this year EEEGR will introduced a new award for Low Carbon Innovation, sponsored by Project Evolve.
Energy Innovation Award Winner Neftemer Ltd, with their Advanced Slug Detector for offshore oil production platform instrumentation
Energy Innovation Award Runner Up Oilennium Ltd. for their Enhanced Equipment Competence Online (E2CO) System.
Low Carbon Innovation Award Winner Redwood Power Systems Ltd. for their new LED (SMD) lighting technology.
The other finalists for 2010 were:
- 4C Offshore, Lowestoft: an easy accessed web-based global offshore wind information system
- Algae-Tech (UK) Ltd, Great Yarmouth: a next generation Algae production system
- C-MAC MicroTechnology, Great Yarmouth: high temperature DC-DC Converter
- Global Marine Systems, Chelmsford: Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) for windfarm installations
- T D Williamson (UK) Ltd, Swindon: SmartPug TM system, a remote-controlled, high-pressure isolation tool.
