EEEGR Breakfast Club - Oxifree: The Challenge Of Aging and Life Extension of Installations
Friday 20th January 2012
The EEEGR Breakfast Club is a new concept of bite sized networking events to bring the industry together on a regular basis over a hearty breakfast.
The maintenance of asset integrity and control of the significant risk to asset integrity presented by ageing processes is a key priority for HSE. The Ageing and Life Extension Inspection Programme, also known as Key Programme 4 (KP4), was launched by HSE to the offshore industry on 28 July 2010 where the inspection programme into ageing offshore installations was welcomed by the Oil & Gas UK, The Voice of the Offshore Industry.
Following the UK Oil & Gas Seminar on Asset Ageing and Life Extension at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre last month, EEEGR is delighted that the HSE OSD keynote speaker Howard Harte will be discussing these issues with a Southern North Sea audience and provide an update on the inspection programme 1 year on.
HSE's Offshore Division (OSD) is responsible for regulating the risks to health and safety arising from work activity in the offshore oil and gas industry on the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS).
This event is sponsored by EEEGR Member Oxifree UK Limited – Oxifree coatings are designed to protect complex metallic components in the harshest of environments. For more information please visit http://www.zerocorrosion.com/.
