Energy Innovation Awards
Innovation, inspiration and imagination are all key drivers to business success. Each year EEEGR awards three companies demonstrating these qualities at our Energy Innovation awards - the region’s premier showcase for bright ideas.
Each year EEEGR members step up to the mark and enter their bright ideas, products, processes and services to compete for the coveted EEEGR Energy Innovation Award. The chosen eight finalists present to an expert panel of judges and a live audience for no more than seven minutes before being grilled on all aspects of their innovation. The judges and audience are then invited to cast their votes to determine the winners, which are announced at the EEEGR Awards Dinner that evening.
There are three awards to compete for, the overall Energy Innovation Award and runner-up and the recently introduced Low Carbon Energy Innovation Award which is presented to the innovation with the most potential for reducing or mitigating carbon.
It’s not, however, just about the buzz of the competition and the glitzy awards ceremony; the Innovation Awards also form a vital platform for the showcasing of great ideas in front of an energy focused audience. More than 300 industry professionals watch the awards and full coverage is given in the following edition of the EEEGR News Magazine. In total, more than 4,000 people will get to read about the awards and the innovations featured within.
Past winners of the awards have experienced real success as a direct result of entering.
Applications for this year's awards are now closed.
