EEEGR Activities
- Networking
At the heart of EEEGR activities is our passion to build contacts across the energy sector bringing our region’s supply chain closer to the major players, for mutual benefit. It’s a two-way deal. Our members meet regularly – not just to talk but to do business.
- Events Programme
EEEGR events programme is centred on networking and business opportunities. We host two flagship conferences and the prestigious Energy innovation Awards each year, as well as a suite of focused sector specific events and corporate social functions. We also lead visits to energy trade fairs and exhibitions and attend events to promote our members across the UK and around the world.
- Publicity & EEEGR News Magazine
We have extensive facilities and excellent contacts to promote and showcase our members and their work and to share their success stories with the wider world. We can spread the word in many ways including our own quarterly EEEGR News magazine and website. We love to highlight the many occasions when our members achieve even more by working together.
- Special interest groups
At the heart of a world leading energy hub, we focus on the complete portfolio of resources in our region. To drive the agenda for specific sectors, we have established a range of special interest groups – a combination of interactive discussion workshops and direct communication through email and online forums.
- Business Opportunities
EEEGR wants all members to be part of the exciting and prosperous future in energy. We ensure that the small business gets all the help it needs on the ladder to success and that global companies can connect with a supply chain which is skilled, experienced, knowledgeable and conveniently packaged within the eastern region. Our 1-2-1 casework provides this support on an individual level and our events and our quarterly magazine provide the platform for the energy supply chain to communicate business opportunities.
- Promoting Inward Investment
EEEGR works on your behalf to promote the East of England as a world leading all energy hub, encouraging inward investment from energy majors and attracting international business opportunities.
- Working with Government
We work with government on a local and national level to ensure that energy remains high on the political agenda and that the East of England is represented in Westminster and within UK energy policy.
- Skills for Energy
Through our Skills for Energy programme, EEEGR works on a number of projects to ensure a skilled and sustainable local workforce for today and for the future.
