4NRg has undertaken a number of different projects to date:
Tidal Harvester - a shallow water tidal energy device specifically designed to be integrated into existing offshore wind farms and significantly improving ROI. Worked with the Broads Authority on a modification for estuaries to act as both a tidal generator and a tidal barrier.
Developing near shore wave devices that also combat coastal erosion. Whilst early stage, this work is due to be presented to the minister at DEFRA to discuss opportunities for further development.
Working with USL to commercialise a patented scour prevention device for offshore turbines and cables. Runner-up in the recent national CleanTech awards.
