Simon Gray

Simon has now been with the organisation since June 2012 and has had a baptism of fire in the energy sector trying to cram knowledge of oil and gas, renewables and nuclear as we as the main drivers of the supply chain behind these. In addition to this Simon has worked to try and raise the profile of our industry and our region with government organising House of Commons receptions and ministerial visits.

Simon previously worked in the charity sector - primarily health related at East Anglian Air ambulance and more recently at Wells Community Hospital. Simon also has a strong background in print and digital media development, working for the likes of Archant, Thomsons, United News and Media and Newsquest.

Simon is a trustee of The Wells Community Hospital Trust on the North Norfolk Coast and is heavily involved in his local community, in his home village of Worstead in Norfolk where he and his wife work on the Worstead Festival a charity that has raised thousands of pounds over the years for local good causes. Simon loves walking and hiking around our coasts, villages and beauty spots and more recently has become an avid Broadsman with a boat on the Norfolk Broads where he is often to be found at weekends.

Simon is keen to see the region live up to its full potential and provide the jobs and future prospects for the generations to come.
