Mark has spent some 30 years in the oil and gas exploration and production business having worked for Shell, Lasmo and Gaz de France in the UK and overseas including Oman, Colombia and Pakistan. 

He served on the Board of UKOOA (now Oil and Gas UK) from 2004 to 2007 and has been a member of the EEEGR Board since 2004.

Mark is currently Head of Development for RWE Dea UK responsible for the Clipper South and the Breagh gas field developments in the UK sector of the North Sea. Mark holds a first class honours degree in Civil Engineering from Southampton University and is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer.
