Gary's involvement with oil & gas projects began in 1979 with specifying, quoting and running contracts for a UK cable manufacturer. Gary relocated to Great Yarmouth in 1986 and established two new companies supporting the SNS and international projects.
In 1994 Gary and three other partners set about creating an organisation to provide the turnkey solution for E&I services supported through a multi-disciplined group to operate within major projects worldwide. This has been created and operates now as E-Tech Group employing nearly 200 people worldwide. Diversification into new markets has been fundamental in their success, exporting skills into fields such as renewables and the massive Superyacht industry. E-Tech Group is committed to sustainable growth and training to ensure they fulfil their obligation to the skills shortage. This year they have employed 7 apprentices on 4 year training courses bringing their total to 31.
