David Edwardsis the Chief Executive for the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) which is dedicated to skills development for the engineering construction sector.

The sector is important as it designs and constructs, repairs and maintains major industry facilities for the energy industry, including power generation, oil and gas production and many more process industries that underpin much of theUKeconomy.

David is a Physicist and has gained significant technical, commercial and management experience through 12 years leading the ECITB, 16 years with BP in technical and commercial roles and a total of 6 years working on projects to establish Business Link services in London and assist the leading Engineering Institutions to develop programmes to train engineers in management.
