Mr Blair Ainslie was educated at the University of London and gained a BSC (Hons) in Physical Geography.
He commenced work in the Oil and Gas Industry in 1995 when he joined Kvaerner Oil and Gas as Contracts Manager.
In 1999, Blair moved to Workfox in the role of Business Manager, responsible for marketing, contracts, commercial and general management of the Seafox fleet of four jack-up accommodation vessels. Blair’s main focus was liaison with vessel owners and with major clients within the oil and gas industry.
Blair moved to Seajacks in 2006 as Managing Director. As background, Seajacks Group was formed in 2006 specifically to construct, own and operate state-of-the-art self-propelled jack-ups. Two vessels, the Seajacks Kraken and Seajacks Leviathan, are currently working in the windfarm industry and a third, larger vessel, Seajacks Zaratan, is under construction at Lamprell yard, Dubai – to be delivered May 2012.
All three vessels are suitable for the installation and maintenance of offshore wind farms and provide an innovative tool for offshore oil and gas operators.
