Anna Soroko is a Senior Consultant with Bond Pearce LLP and has over 20 years experience advising major utilities and oil and gas companies on a wide range of matters, particularly on projects relating to infrastructure, including the Teesside GasPortâ„¢, Great Yarmouth Power Station and the Central Area Transmission System (CATS). She is both an English solicitor and a Texas qualified attorney-at-law. She has worked both internationally and domestically including for 7 years in Houston, Texas with Vinson & Elkins LLP. After moving back to the UK Anna spent 9 years in-house with Amoco and later BP after which she was Assistant General Counsel for TXU until returning to private practice.

Anna was the 2007 winner of The Lawyer Infrastructure Team of the Year Award for her work on the Teesside GasPort Project which was the world’s first in-port, on board LNG regasification project. Anna also acted for Excelerate Energy in their judicial review application against GEMA in respect of reductions to the Teesside NTS entry capacity levels. She has considerable expertise in infrastructure construction, offshore LNG unloading, CCS, offshore pipeline transportation of oil and gas and gas storage, including  for projects which utilise innovative technology to provide energy markets with diverse sources of supply.

She also has experience in M&A, corporate restructurings, negotiation of Gas/LNG Sales arrangements, international project financing, tenders and negotiations for a range of energy projects. Anna has also published numerous articles on various energy matters, is well known as a presenter at international Oil & Gas conferences and is a co-author for the authoritative Oil & Gas text book, Daintith & Willoughby, writing on CCS and Offshore LNG unloading.

She has been an elected director of the East of England Energy Group since 2005 and lives in Ipswich where she also keeps two horses at livery.
