WEH Forward (Wider Energy Horizons)

The WEH Forward project was started to help businesses in the East of England cope with changing circumstances within the energy industry. The core aim of WEH Forward is to add value to companies supply chains and sustain development within the region. The project can help companies achieve these goals through combining the business links of EEEGR (The voice of energy in the East of England) and the business development expertise of Nautilus Associates.

In 2008, WEH (WEH Forwards predecessor) was successfully deployed in the local area engaging with in excess of 150 companies, safeguarding 28 jobs and increased participant turnover by £3million based on feedback received. WEH Forward is now being provided through Enterprise Great Yarmouth, funded by LEGI (Local Enterprise Growth Initiative)

WEH Forward has now added even more value to the program through the development of online business tools. These tools cover the four cornerstones of business: Strategy, Finance, Marketing and Operations. These tools will enable companies to carry out their own analysis as and when they wish. Each section contains explanation and examples with worksheets and calculators to carry out your own analysis. Why not give them a go?

These tools are available via the Nautilus Associates website:

This project offers your company the chance to spend time with top business consultants without the fee. This is a unique opportunity for businesses that can make a real difference and add real value to your supply chain. Nautilus business consultants will help analyse your current business position and develop an action plan for a more prosperous future. WEH Forward consultants can also aid with gaining funding or grants and can refer your business to valuable contacts within your supply chain.

All we require is someone from your company to come and meet us, so that we can discuss with you the best possible strategy for a more prosperous future.
