Business Link East

April 1st 2007 saw the launch of Business Link East, delivering business support services to the whole of the Eastern region.

Business Link East is the gateway providing access to the most comprehensive range of independent, impartial advice to would-be entrepreneurs and businesses across the region.

The creation of a single Business Link service enables greater and immediate access to region-wide information, resources and events.  Increasing the number of Business Advisers by 50% to 90 operating from our 13 new key location centres will ensure our services continue to be delivered locally.

The larger Business Adviser team will include independent and impartial Advisers and Sector Specialists for areas such as rural business, women's enterprise and information technology.

June Davenport and Paul Barker are sector specialists for Energy & The Environment

The 13 key location centres that have been identified across the Eastern region are based in:

  • Bedford
  • Bury St Edmunds
  • Cambridge
  • Colchester
  • Gorleston-on-Sea
  • Harlow
  • Hatfield -  Information and Intelligence Centre
  • Ipswich
  • Kings Lynn
  • Luton
  • Norwich
  • Peterborough
  • Southend

The Regional Information and Intelligence service is centrally based with over 40 Information Advisers available to answer any business question. To speak to an advisor or arrange a meeting at your place of work, telephone
