Who are our members?
Our members harvest the North Sea for oil and gas and deliver it safely to our homes and workplaces.
Our members explore new ways of generating lower carbon emissions that are kind to our planet.
Our members are the innovators who constantly stretch technological boundaries to keep us plugged in.
EEEGR provides shared benefit through a paid membership structure. Members are encouraged from a balanced mix of size and nature of business; from oil and gas, through renewables, nuclear and energy efficiency. It is vital that members complement and co-operate with each other wherever possible but also recognising that there will be individual business competition within a holistic framework. The goal is collaborate to compete.
EEEGR has three types of membership representing the energy industry in the East of England. These are:
- Regional Members - commercial organisations working within the energy industry or its supply chain, who generate some, or all, of their turnover from operations based in the East of England.
- Non-Regional Members - commercial organisations working within the energy industry or its supply chain, who generate or wish to generate some, or all, of their turnover from operations within the East of England however not occupying an operating base in the region.
- Supporters - generally public bodies or not-for-profit organisations with a specific interest in the energy industry or its supply chain within the East of England. We ask that supporters contribute, directly or indirectly (individually negotiated), to support and promote the activities of EEEGR and its membership.
