UKTI - Export Marketing Research Scheme (EMRS)
EMRS is accessible via your International Trade Adviser and is managed nationally on behalf of UKTI by the British Chamber of Commerce. It offers free, independent advice about how to approach researching a new export market. Businesses may receive financial subsidies of up to 50% towards some of their marketing research costs including travel and accommodation while visiting the country being researched. EMRS can help companies to gather intelligence on market size and segmentation; regulations and legislation; customer needs, usage and attitudes; distribution channels; global trends; competitor activity; strategy and performance. The most successful exporters are those that consider their new market entry carefully.
